Cisco has published an introductionary minisite about their recently announced Cisco Unified Computing System on their website.

The Cisco Unified Computing System is Cisco’s next-generation data center architecture platform. It is designed, as Cisco puts it, to improve IT responsiveness to rapidly changing business demands, accelerate the delivery of new services and making this process simple, reliable, and secure, through end-to-end provisioning and migration support for both virtualized and non-virtualized systems.

Cisco announces Unified Computing System

Today Cisco Chairman & CEO John Chambers announced their Unified Computing System vision. This also marks the start of the UCSBlog, where will follow and discuss the development of the Unified Computing System in the future.
